General Important Instructions
For Foreign Nationals, Children of Indians working in the Gulf and South East Asia, PIO, OCI, and ICCR students.
- Please read the guidelines or procedure of admission before filling the Online Application form.
- Please write the correct name and Surname in the application form as mentioned in the passport. No changes will be allowed later.
- A valid Student Visa is necessary on arrival. No admission will be granted on Tourist/X/Entry/Medical Visa.
- All documents must be translated into English.
- Visit the International Centre, SPPU with original documents and updated Visa after receiving Provisional Admission Letter.
- Foreign national students must carry marksheets attested by Ministry of Education or Indian Embassy.
- All uploaded documents must be produced in original at the time of final admission.
- Only students who have passed 12th Std. are eligible for Bachelor's admission.
- Only students with a Bachelor's degree are eligible for Master's admission.
- If documents are found fake/forged, application will be rejected and legal action will be taken.
- Students must verify fees and course details with respective departments/colleges before confirming admission.
- College allotment is based on preferences, eligibility, and availability. No change requests will be accepted.
- Once allotted, college cannot be changed under any circumstances.
- Fees paid are non-refundable.
- Students from non-English speaking countries must appear for English Proficiency Test (EPT).
- Failure to attend EPT requires mandatory remedial course.
- Students missing EPT must contact International Centre immediately.
- Medical check-up must be completed within 3 months of admission.
- Medical insurance card (if paid) must be collected after 4 months.
- Students are not allowed to work during study period. Any such approach must be reported to FRO.
- No Indian can apply on behalf of an international student.
- All discrepancies must be resolved for final eligibility letter.
- Students must report to FRO within 14 days of arrival.
- AIU Equivalence Certificate is mandatory for foreign university marksheets.
Additional Instructions for PIO / OCI / Gulf Sponsored Students
These points apply specifically to PIO/OCI students and children of Indians working in Gulf or South East Asia.
Eligibility & Sponsorship
- Only father or mother working in Gulf or S.E. Asia may sponsor the student for admission.
- All documents must be translated into English.
- All sponsor parent documents must be submitted in original with no pending documents.
- Only Passing Certificate may be pending as it may arrive late.
- Only previously uploaded documents will be considered valid during submission.
Documents & Verification
- Original marksheet is mandatory. Do not upload documents without original marksheet.
- Foreign university marksheets must have an AIU Equivalence Certificate (New Delhi).
- If documents are found fake, application will be rejected and legal action will be taken.
- Initially, only Conditional Provisional Admission & Eligibility Letter will be issued.
- Visit International Centre with all original documents after receiving the provisional letter.
If sponsor parent (NRI - Gulf/S.E. Asia) is not accompanying, passport and visa copies must be attested by Indian Embassy and original attestation submitted.
